This week’s event we will be teaching how to make Matcha Ice-cream & Mochi.

Matcha Ice-cream

What flavour’s that??

Popular in Japan, 

Matcha

 (or 

Maccha

) 

is a Japanese powder made 

from specially treated 

Green Tea 

leaves for use in Sadou (Japanese Tea Ceremony)’s tradition.

What about 

Mochi

?!

Mochi 

is a Japanese 

rice cake

 made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and moulded into shape. In Japan, traditionally 

made during the 

Mochi

tsuki 

ceremony, as a New Year’s tradition.

Activities:

-The Breakdown

Short presentation of the dishes which we will be making

-Mini Icebreaking Game

-The Demo

Demonstration on how to make the dishes
