and kami meaning "paper"; kami changes to gami due to rendaku.

Yaki Yaki Yaki Festival!

Something Japanese?? XD

~ Yaki Festival ~

Date: 1st February 2012 (Wednesday)

Time: 2pm onwards

Venue: Room G.21a, APB, IPISOAS Building

This week’s event we will be teaching how to make

THREE DIFFERENT YAKIs XD

What is Yaki??

It is derived from "yaku" (焼く) which is one of the cooking methods in Japanese cuisine, meaning "to fry or grill", & can be found in the names of other Japanese cuisine items.

Activities:

> Registration

Event registration will start at 2pm onwards.

This includes volunteer registration for 

Japanese Language & Culture Week  ( JLCW)

> Intro to our Nihon Ryouri Club

2.30pm: Short presentation of the club as well as the dishes which we will be making

> Cooking Demo

Demonstration on how to make the dishes

then it's your turn to try ;)

-> Yakisoba

Registration & renewals are still open!!

Payment per sem: $5

(+2 passport photos – for  NEW MEMBERS)

Non-members are welcomed
